CYCLONE – PARTICLE SEPARATOR

Particle separators are devices used in industrial processes to separate suspended solids. Their operation is based on the principle of separation by specific weight and their internal design with tangential inlet allows for greater efficiency in the removal of particles. These separators, made in Domfesa, are manufactured with materials resistant to erosion and friction, which allows them to function optimally. They are also easy to maintain, with the option of automatic discharge of accumulated sediment. In combination with other filters, the particle separators offer optimal cleaning and are used in various industrial sectors.

Operation of particle separators

Particle separators are devices used in industrial processes to separate suspended solids. Their operation is based on the principle of separation by specific gravity, internal design and tangential inlet, as well as on the materials of construction and strength of which they are composed.

Separation principle based on specific gravity

Particle separators use the principle of specific gravity separation to separate solids from a mixture. This principle is based on the difference in density between the solid particles and the air. When the specific gravity of the solids is greater than that of the air, they tend to separate and accumulate at the bottom of the separator.

Interior design and tangential inlet

Domfesa has a study and design department adapted to each type of raw material. A highlight of the particle separators is their interior design and tangential inlet. Each different design is optimised to get the maximum performance in terms of filtering and particle separation, saving maximum energy and time for the users of this equipment.

Always thinking and respecting the environment in a sustainable way.

Manufacturing materials and resistance

The particle separators are manufactured with high quality and resistant materials, depending on the requirements of each different material, avoiding corrosion as much as possible and extending the useful life of the machine in question.
